Our Year 6 Learning

We are enjoy a broad curriculum which we are proud of, this covers a range of subjects that develop our children and their learning. We believe that this is a fundamental part of supporting children with their understanding of the World in which they live. Please see highlights of our half term which we will continue to update below.

Here is the curriculum map for Year 6, it contains all the exciting, interesting things we will be learning this year. During the course of the year, in line with the children's interests topics may move slightly. If topics do change this will be made aware in the class newsletter.

On our class page, you can take a look at what we will be learning about each term, as well as keep track of any important reminders or special dates for the children.

This year, our Year 6 children attended Robinwood. Over the 3 day, 2 night residential our Year 6 children took part in 15 exciting activities which developed teamwork, stimulated imagination and provided challenging situations.

Our Year 6 children had a wonderful weekend and it was lovely to observe their confidence, team working skills and resilience develop throughout the 3 day stay.
