Welcome to the Year 6 Class Page
Hello and welcome to our Year Six at Old Hall Primary School. This is a very exciting year for you and your child, as they explore the wonderful topics that are part of our Old Hall curriculum for Year 6.
The Year 6 team is: Mr Sharman, Mrs Mahony, Mrs Lindley and Mrs Webber.
I am looking forward to working with you and your child/ren.
Class Information
We will also put any important information you may need inside as an email or message from the school office we also use ClassDojo for communication. We use Seesaw as a digital folder which we will share some of our learning with you.
When your child has PE on a Monday or a Friday, you child/ren are expected to wear a full P.E. kit and suitable trainers or pumps.
Our Week
This is what our week looks like in Year 6. This may change slightly due to school events.

Friday | Opportunity to discuss homework with class teacher. Reading books in daily and sent home. P.E. Day - P.E kits to be brought into school. |

Our Year 6 Learning
We are enjoy a broad curriculum which we are proud of, this covers a range of subjects that develop our children and their learning. We believe that this is a fundamental part of supporting children with their understanding of the World in which they live. Please see highlights of our half term which we will continue to update below.
Here is the curriculum map for Year 6, it contains all the exciting, interesting things we will be learning this year. During the course of the year, in line with the children's interests topics may move slightly. If topics do change this will be made aware in the class newsletter.

Robinwood
This year, our Year 6 children attended Robinwood. Over the 3 day, 2 night residential our Year 6 children took part in 15 exciting activities which developed teamwork, stimulated imagination and provided challenging situations.
Our Year 6 children had a wonderful weekend and it was lovely to observe their confidence, team working skills and resilience develop throughout the 3 day stay.
