Resources:

Testbase, Dyslexia scheme, PSHE and wellbeing scheme (Kapow), Reading/writing scheme, Scholfield & Simms Complete Comprehension and Boo Boxes.

Testbase – Testbase assessments are now used in Y2-Y6. Testbase is also used to expose children to reasoning questions in maths across KS1 and KS2. Since September, children are becoming more confident in answer reasoning questions independently.

Dyslexia Scheme - As a school, we purchased Nessy which is a programme which supports children with their reading, spelling and writing. This has ensured that children with dyslexia can now access guided reading and receive further support with their reading, writing and spelling.

PSHE and Wellbeing – We now have a PSHE and wellbeing scheme which is taught across KS1 and KS2. The scheme ensures teaching and learning is consistent across key stages and there is a clear learning journey in place for children.

Complete Comprehension – We now have a comprehension scheme which is taught across KS1 and KS2. The scheme ensures teaching and learning is consistent across key stages. Also, children will be exposed to the comprehension domains at the relevant time of their learning journey.
