Geography

We have been learning about our local area in Year One. We looked at maps of our school and used our orienteering skills to find our way around school. We had a great time and spotted lots of landmarks around us!

Super Scientists

We have been super scientists in Year One, observing and recording the weather in Autumn. We carried out our observations over one week and found out that Autumn can be very wet and starts to get colder. We even saw a rainbow!

Roll a Picasso!

In art we have been learning about self-portraits. We looked at Picasso's cubism portraits and used these to inspire us to create our own.  We rolled a dice and drew different shapes for parts of our faces using ink. Finally we used bright coloured oil pastels to complete our masterpieces!
