Year 3- Making seasonal vegetable tarts.
Year 3 enjoyed making vegetable tarts last term in D&T. They had to do various taste tests to decide on the right ingredients for their tart as well as practice the skills of peeling and chopping to prepare the vegetables. They then assembled their creations and waited for them to cook.
Finally, we did a taste test, where they evaluated their tarts, saying what they liked about them and what they would d to improve them in the future.
