Class Organisation Information:- 
  • We have seven classes in school in this academic year.

  • All of our classes are single year groups.

  • The number in each class this year is approximately 30

Reception (Early Years)

Reception are taught by Mrs Hesketh and are supported by Miss Cooper (full time Teaching Assistant). They enjoy a wide range of activities both indoors and in our lovely outdoor area. They also enjoy activities on the apparatus that was built in partnership with Bury College. The class also  benefits from volunteer helpers.

Year 1

Year 1 are taught by Miss Rea and are supported by Mrs Nicklin (full time Teaching Assistant). They enjoy a wide range of fun and exciting ways to learn. The class also benefits from volunteer readers.

Year 2

Year 2 are taught by Mr Cooley and are supported by Miss Guy (full time Teaching Assistant).  They enjoy a wide range of fun and exciting ways to learn. The class also benefits from volunteer helpers.

Year 4

The children are taught by Mrs Miller and Mrs Nuttall.  On a Wednesday afternoon, Mr Ainscoe teaches them Topic. The children also benefit from a volunteer reader who comes in once a week.

Year 5

Year 5 are taught by Mr Chase and are supported by Mrs Mahony (full time Teaching Assistant), who splits her time with Years 5 and 6. They enjoy a variety of challenging activities, designed to inspire them to reach their full potential.The class also benefits from volunteer readers.

Year 6

Year 6 are taught by Mrs Coop and are supported by Mrs Mahony (full time Teaching Assistant), who splits her time with Years 5 and 6. They enjoy a variety of challenging activities, designed to inspire them to reach their full potential.The class also benefits from volunteer readers from the community.

Year 3

Year 3 are taught by Mrs Hornsby and her part time TA Mrs Lindley. They enjoy a wide range of fun and exciting ways to learn. The class also benefits from volunteer helpers such as Mrs Harwood, Miss Wilson and Mrs Simpson, who support the children's learning and also help out with things like reading, trips and extra curricular activities during the year.
